About HollyMade
I set HollyMade up in September 2009 as a way to produce and sell any glassware items I make. The name came from the idea that everything's hand made, and home made by Holly and so HollyMade seemed to fit! I really want that to come across - that all of these items are individually produced and not a mass market product.
About Holly
As for me, I'm currently studing Theatre & Performance Studies at The University of Warwick until June 2012. I will try not to let the glass painting get in the way of some serious studying!
My background to date is pretty varied covering a lot of theatrical and creative ventures as well as some more traditional and academic ones. I worked as an Accountancy Assistant for the past year which I've really enjoyed, and due to the lovely flexible nature of my employers I've been able to do some theatrical work along side the day job which included teaching, workshopping and being on a funding judging panel for IdeasTap. Once upon a time, I also worked as an Assistant Manager of a Restaurant, but the less said about that the better!
Work aside, I'm very happy with how things are going at the moment. I have a very patient and loving boyfriend who doesn't mind putting up with all of my mess and tealights everywhere, perfect. As I write this, he is sat next to me doing a charcoal drawing of Joe Calzaghe. He's a very talented artist but he just won't admit it to himself. I'm sure if you stick around, you'll hear much more about his artistic things too. Watch this space!
