Personalised Painted Glassware made by Holly

Hello and thank you for stumbling upon HollyMade, the home of all kinds of personalised glassware gifts made by me, Holly! I started glass painting not too long ago as a way to make unique one off gifts for friends and family. I absolutely love doing it, but don't have enough space to keep all the things I've made which is where you come in! If you're interested in any of the things I've made, please check out My Folksy Shop! or if you've something particular in mind for yourself, a friend, or family member head to the order page (Coming Soon!) where you can customise your own gift.

You can also head to the Comments page if you'd like to leave me a message that way and let me know what you think of HollyMade!

All HollyMade gifts are carefully hand crafted by me and because of this they are all unique. Each item carries with it my signature somewhere on the item "Hx" so you know it's been made by no one else. Think of it as a seal of authenticity!

News & Updates

25th September 2010 - Well, it's been a long time! A few techinical hitches have meant I haven't kept this site up to date as much as I'd like to but hopefully that'll change soon. I've been working on a few new styles and a few more techniques to add to my belt so there should be a new range of items available on sale soon! Don't forget - you can always ask for customisations or something special if you have anything in mind. Feel free to drop me by an email or leave a comment on this website.

9th November 2009 - Apologies for the lack of updates these last few weeks but Uni work has taken over I'm afraid! Am planning on making some decorated mirrors this week so photos of those will be up very soon, and if they're any good, I'll make a couple available in the shop. I'm also hoping to experiment with making some fridge magnets so we'll see how those go too!

In other news, everything's going pretty well at the moment and I'm looking forward to my birthday in 2 weeks time! Am spending far too much money to think about at the moment...! Didn't help that I went shopping today, but I did buy some lovely things.

12th October 2009 - Life at University has begun, and I seem to be settling in very well which is a bonus. Over the past week, have sold three items from the Online Shop which is very exciting and I'm about to go and post some now. I'd like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported me at Folksy, and hope you stay in touch.

Have some new and exciting ideas about more products so keep your eyes peeled for more products appearing soon. I recently invested in some ceramic and porcelain paint and dishwasher proof paint so should be able to create some more hard wearing things very shortly.

23rd September 2009 - Today I was in London for the IdeasTap IdeasFund Launch at the Old Vic Theatre. After being on the panel and deciding which projects should recieve £500, £1000 or £5000 in funding it was good to be able to put names to faces! It was pretty inspiring to see these winners that managed to obtain such funding by coming up with truely original and interesting projects! It just makes me realise that however much I think I've made good use of my time up until now - I could be doing A LOT more. I came away with an IdeasTap USB stick (which to me, is cool!). It was however a lot of travelling (everytime I go to London now I can't help but think studying there would have been a good option afterall!) and now I'm very tired.

In more HollyMade related news - more items have been put up on the shop including an option to personalise any candle holders you've already purchased! There's still a few more items to come so keep your eyes peeled.

Also, there's no news on the competition I entered yet... still keeping the fingers crossed. However, I'm so pleased with what I managed to create and I'm so proud of it, I almost feel I don't need the validation of a competition win! I can't wait to put my special tealight holder in my new room at Uni. It's not long until I'm off now - 4th October is the big day. I have two days at work left before I pop off to Center Parcs for a week and then the studying begins... SCARY STUFF.

20th September 2009 - There's a few more items for sale in my Online Shop so feel free to check those out. I shall be adding a few more too, and hopefully will be sorting out a way in which you can order personalisations too. I put some photos of my competition entry on the Products page too! See what you think and feel free to leave a comment to tell me what you think!

There have been a few issues with the security of this website over the past two weeks and so I thank you for any patience you've had in regards to visiting the site. I shall be contacting my web hosting providers to ensure they are doing everything they can to ensure this doesn't happen again. Thanks

13th September 2009 - Hi all! Have been very busy today putting some finishing touches to the website. You'll notice there's now a Comments page so you can leave me your thoughts! The look of the site is also slightly different. Okay, that doesn't sound like I've done a lot, but trust me, it took a lot of work!

In other news, I've been working on a competition entry today and so when that's complete, I'll put up pictures of it and fingers crossed it catches the eyes of the judges! Watch this space...

5th September 2009 - After designing the basics of the website, I've started updating the content. So whilst there's not a HUGE deal here at the moment, watch this space! I'm also going to finish off three Kilner jars today (three sweetie jars!) so will post some pictures of them when they're finished. Busy busy busy!
